Our Team
Simon started Yo Yo Salon in 2002 and has been the lead stylist at Yo Yo since. With over 30 years in the industry, Simon has worked internationally in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Canada. A stylist of different precision cutting and coloring techniques, Simon is highly meticulous. He listens and uses creative approaches to customize hairstyles for each individual. To see him work is to see an artist at his craft.
Joanne was trained in Taiwan and has been with Yo Yo for over 10 years. Her specialty lies with Japanese cutting and perming techniques. European styles are also a forte. Joanne will collaborate and guide you through your hair journey. With her laid-back personality, you will feel comfortable and immediately see her passion for what she does best.
Mary has been an integral part of the Yo Yo family for over 15 years. She received her training in both Japan and Britain and brings with her more than 20 years of industry experience. Her expertise includes precision haircuts, styling, and advanced coloring techniques, with a particular emphasis on event updos. Mary regularly travels internationally to stay updated on the latest trends in styling and cutting. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Mary is genuinely passionate about working with each client’s hair.
Yuzu has been a professional stylist in Japan and the US for over 18 years and has mastered her skills in cuts, thermal reconditioning and color. She is a Vidal Sassoon trained hairstylist and is certified in thermal reconditioning (Japanese straightening) and keratin treatments. Yuzu aspires to continuously hone her craft by traveling to learn the newest techniques and styling trends. She is a rare combination of superior craftsmanship and humility. Yuzu’s creativity and sense of style shine through in her technique and her attention to detail for each and every client.
